The Roman ruins, situated on the peninsula of Troia, are the perfect setting for the representation of the show Cavalo de Troia: contado pelos romanos. Cavalo de Troia, by Décadas de Sonho and with the participation of Malatitsch, will take the audience on a trip to Asia minor, to live a story of gods and heroes, with their adventures lived thousands of years ago in the distant city of Troy. This mythical city was the scene of one of the most beautiful love stories of humanity, now told by the look of ‘Romans’ of another Portuguese Troy. The 50 minutes show, represented in this historical setting, revives the passion of Helen and Paris, sung by Homer, which drove generals and gods crazy. With the unfolding of the plot, adults and children will discover the place where love was able to confront well-armed armies and learn how in a war, only the cunning of some men can lead to victory.
Roman ruins of Troy were the largest production centre of fish salting in the Roman Empire. The show – which will be exclusively presented at Praia da Caldeira on 8th and 9th June, Saturday and Sunday, with two sessions on each of the days, one at 9:00 pm and another at 10:30 pm – leads to the discovery of historical and natural charms, in an original and exclusive way, that this scenario still preserves
