With premiere scheduled for May 31st at 9:00 pm at Teatro Carlos Alberto, in Porto, Coisas que não há que há is a show produced after the poetry of Manuel António Pina, as one of the many qualities this author’s poetry is its musicality. Coisas que não há que há was born precisely from the desire of the Coro Lira to give voice to this virtue, inviting ten contemporary composers to create music from many poems from Pina, to a chorus of 30 children and youth voices. The Teatro do Frio joined later in the design and construction of the dramaturgy of the show, with artistic direction of Catarina Lacerda and musical direction of Raquel Couto. This show, which is a co-production of Teatro do Frio and São João National Theatre (TNSJ), starts from a playful essence, questionable and dreamlike poetry of Manuel António Pina and converts it into memory and imagined experience of the bodies. Between the «corner, little squares and corners of language», adults and children, gigarfs and Dwariants, give full wings to its «head bird», an approach that varies from the concert, the choir presentation and physical theatre. The play will also be on stage on June 1st, international children's day, at 11:00 and 4:00 pm, with translation in Portuguese sign language.
