Bruno Pernadas and Mário Delgado will be the guest artists of Guitarras ao Alto, a musical event that happens in the Alentejo from 24th May to 1st June, and will this year have its 5th Edition. The Pousada Flor da Rosa, in Crato, was the venue chosen to open this first ever meeting of two generations of musicians who come together because of their love for the guitar. Bruno Pernadas joins Mário Delgado to create new music that will be presented exclusively in several stages representative of the architectural heritage of Alentejo. The connection to the Alentejo region continues to be the matrix of this Festival: an unprecedented event in Portugal, inspired by the music, wine, cuisine, landscape and heritage. A return to the origins and an appreciation of the interior of the country, taking quality music beyond the major urban centres and making that music accessible to all. An ode to the guitar and to the interventionist spirit of Alentejo, divided along four cities in Alentejo: Crato (24th May), Estremoz (25th May), Avis (31st May) and Marvão-Beirã (1st June). This year, Guitarras ao Alto will toast to all those who come to the shows with Nunes Barata de Cabeção/Mora wines.
