Organized in partnership between ESTE-Estação Teatral and Câmara Municipal do Fundão, (Fundão’s City Hall), the Iberian Theatre Fair will gather more than 150 professionals of performing arts from Portugal and Spain from 27th to 29th June in Fundão. The selection process of artistic programming sought to «find potential performances for the Iberian market, from the perspective of fitting all performances within an artistic, social, political, touristic, historical or cultural interest, common to both countries», said the Organization, adding that «the evaluation work involved, was based on the analysis of 251 proposals from 202 Portuguese and Spanish companies, in order to select the 11 shows now scheduled for the Iberian Fair». Apart from the performances, there will be spaces for interviews, conversations and meetings, bringing this industry professionals together. The Portuguese companies ESTE-Estação Teatral, Peripécia Teatro, Circolando, Companhia da Chanca and Teatro de Marionetas do Porto will be the Portuguese companies present at the event, while as Spain will be represented by Marmore Producciones, Teatro en Vilo, Vol 'E Temps, UpArte, Iron Skulls and Filis theatre.
