Na Pele Dela (in her skin) is an exhibition that results from a photographic project that gathers male public figures posing in scenarios associated with women. Stripped of prejudice, at a time when the problem of gender equality has gained more and more relevance and seeks to challenge the traditional role of women in society, assuming an active posture in the transformation of mentalities and rooted attitudes, the 16 public figures let themselves be photographed in the skin of a ' she ', in such called feminine contexts: household chores, doing the waxing or the manicure, or putting on their makeup. Albano Jerónimo, Carlão, Hélio Morais (Linda Martini), Igor Ribeiro (Ghetthoven), Jhon Douglas, Julião Sarmento, Leonaldo de Almeida, Paulo Furtado (The Legendary Tigerman) and Tomás Wallenstein (Capitão Fausto) are among the photographed who accepted the challenge from the entrant Maria Lopes, a producer, a programmer, a DJ and a passionate for the world of arts, and Mário César, an advertiser and a photography fan. «We believe that there are no exclusively feminine behaviours and we want to deconstruct the reductive and simplified dichotomy that continues to exist and last in our society in the 21st century. Na Pele Dela intends to be an ode to equality in individuality», underline the mentors of the project. The exhibition can be visited at Todos Playground, at Rua Pereira Henriques, in Marvila, Lisbon.
