One of the most cherished bands of all times will ‘return’ to Lisbon on 13th and 14th September and promises to revive one of today’s greatest musical legacies. Created almost 50 years ago, its story was unfortunately interrupted by the death of the charismatic lead singer, owner of one of the most beautiful and powerful voices ever. We’re obviously referring to Freddie Mercury and the iconic Queen. Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, We Are the Champions, Don't Stop Me Now, We Will Rock You or I Want it All are unavoidable themes in the history of music and all signed by the charismatic band. Accompanied by the PSP Symphonic Band and the Lisbon Film Orchestra, Queen Symphonic, the Symphony project, which counts with Brian May’s (the British band lead guitarist) support, will reinterpret these and other successes at Campo Pequeno arena in Lisbon. Jenna Lee James, Jon Boydon, Rachael Wooding and Peter Eldridge, who participated in the musical We Will Rock You (London West End), are part of the band that offers an even more epic dimension to reinterpretations of Queen’s Repertoire, as the conductor Richard Sidwell, responsible for musical arrangements of this concert, explained.
