Semibreve Festival, organized by AUAUFEIOMAU artistic cooperative and supported by Braga’s City Council, is an inescapable event in the panorama of national and international electronic music, providing shows of some of the most relevant artists of today's electronic music, contributing to the dissemination of scientific production in the field of digital arts produced by relevant institutions, such as the University of Minho, the University of Porto, Católica University, Fundação Biennale de Cerveira and digitópia/Casa da Música. This year, in its ninth edition, the event that was once considered one of the 26 most interesting festivals in the world by the British magazine Dazed and Confused, will take place from the 25th to the 27th October, in various locations of the city, such as Theatro Circo, Um Medieval Hall, Capela Imaculada do Seminário Menor and GNRation. In the fabulous Theatro Circo, one of the city stages, Morton Subotnick, an 86 year-old who is an absolute legend of the electronic music will be performing. Here, other names like Suzanne Ciani, Alessandro Cortini or Ipek Gorgun will perform. On the other hand, GNRation will welcome names like Nik Void or Avalon Emerson. Deaf Center will present itself in the Capela Imaculada do Seminário Menor, and Felicia Atkinson in the UM Medieval Hall.
