The Casa de Lavra project came about from a rare relationship of closeness and a very clear objective: to build a place where life unfolds to the full. More than simply designing a house, this is a sensitive exercise in interpreting a way of life, where every line endeavours to give shape to a way of living, reflecting the quality and sensitivity of Ricardo Azevedo’s work.

The client’s close connection to nature and outdoor life comes to life in a concept of continuous living, almost suspended above the garden – as if the house were less a limitation and more an invitation.
