Hélder Araújo, Casais Group Director - Casais Angola: 25 years building the future of the country

The Casais Group arrived in Angola more than 25 years ago with a clear vision: to contribute to rebuilding a country that was in the process of rebirth, bringing technical expertise, discipline, and a corporate culture focused on sustainable results. Ever since, the history of Casais in Angola has been intertwined with the recent history of the country’s development.
Over the course of these two and a half decades, the company has been involved in structural projects in the areas of housing, education, health, energy, roads, water, and other public works, thereby contributing to improving the quality of life of the population.
But the true legacy of Casais in Angola cannot be measured solely in square metres or tonnes of concrete. It is measured in the people it has trained, in the Angolan technical executives who now lead teams, and in the transfer of knowledge that has created local value and strengthened the construction sector: a clear demonstration of its commitment to human development and national empowerment.
With a culture based on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, the Casais Group has introduced new construction approaches in Angola, inspired by the Group’s international experience in more than 17 countries. To achieve this, it has invested in the creation of a number of industries related to the construction sector, transforming itself into a solid and integrated industrial group.
Casais Angola continues to look ahead today. With a strong focus on strategic projects, social infrastructure, and sustainable solutions, it remains a trusted partner of the state and the private sector in the implementation of Angola’s Development Agenda.
As Angola celebrates 50 years of independence, Casais is proud to have been part of this journey and would like to reaffirm its purpose: to build with Angola, for Angola, and for the future of all Angolans.
