Aston Martin DBX S – A nova expressão máxima do luxo desportivo

Aston Martin DBX S – The new pinnacle of sporting luxury

Aston Martin presents the latest and most exclusive interpretation of its Super-SUV: the DBX S. A new top-of-the-range version, this model raises the already impressive bar set by the DBX707, combining more power, lower weight and an even more striking aesthetic identity. The result is a vehicle that reinforces the brand’s historic connection to the ‘S’ suffix – a symbol of superior performance ever since the iconic Vanquish S – and one that continues to define a lineage of lighter, more powerful models focused on the driving experience.
At the heart of the DBX S beats an upgraded version of the brand’s acclaimed 4.0-Litre Twin-Turbo V8, now benefiting from technology transferred directly from the upcoming Valhalla supercar. With larger compressor wheel diameters and significant internal improvements, power is raised by 20 PS to 727 PS. The response is even more immediate at the top of the rev range, resulting in acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and an improvement of 0.3 seconds in the 0 to 200 km/h mark. The top speed remains unchanged at an impressive 310 km/h.

Complementing the increase in performance, a modified exhaust system amplifies the character of the V8, producing an even more expressive and engaging sound. The 9-speed “wet clutch” automatic transmission – which removes the need for the conventional torque converter – ensures lightning-fast starts and variable power delivery between front and rear wheels, sending up to 50% of torque to the front or 100% to the rear wheels. In the DBX S, the change up points have been adjusted and the downshifts in Sport and Sport+ modes have become even more aggressive.

Weight reduction has been carefully and intelligently engineered. Standout features include the new optional carbon fibre roof – the largest carbon element ever fitted to an Aston Martin – measuring almost three square metres. In addition to eliminating the roof rails, it reduces weight by 18 kg at the very highest point of the vehicle, reducing the centre of gravity and enhancing stability and agility.
For the first time in the SUV segment, 23” magnesium wheels are available as an option, saving 19 kg of unsprung mass. Lighter than steel, titanium or aluminium, they enhance steering precision and ride quality. Alternatively, 23” forged aluminium wheels are still available as standard.
Dynamic performance also benefits from enhanced suspension, with revised calibration of both the air springs and electronic dampers. The electronic roll control system limits roll to just 1.5 degrees, less than many purpose-built two-seater sports cars. Braking is provided by 420 mm carbon ceramic discs at the front and 390 mm at the rear, ensuring virtually inexhaustible braking performance.
Visually, the DBX S makes a striking impression. The new pure black vaned grille reinforces its road presence and can be replaced by a lightweight polycarbonate grille inspired by the DBS 770 Ultimate. The splitter, diffuser and side sills have been redesigned, with optional carbon elements. At the rear, vertically stacked quad exhausts take centre stage, accompanied by a completely reprofiled bumper.

Chrome plated ‘S’ badging on the front fenders, in solid glass-enamelled metal with red filling – evoking models such as the Vantage S and Rapide S – emphasises the nature of this version. The lower livery can be customised in Rosso Corsa Red, Trophy Silver or Podium Green, extending the visual signature across the entire bodywork.
Inside, the exclusive ‘S’ theme is highlighted by the herringbone pattern on the seats, whose lines become wider as they progress up the seat, suggesting speed and dynamism. The latest-generation infotainment system, developed in-house, is integrated into a revamped cabin architecture where technology and luxury coexist with elegance.

Fitted as standard, the 800W Aston Martin Premium Audio system with 14 speakers delivers surround sound with QuantumLogic® technology. For true audio enthusiasts, the partnership with Bowers & Wilkins offers an optional 1600 W, 23-speaker system with aluminium double dome tweeters, Continuum® midrange speakers and dedicated headline and base speakers and subwoofer, creating a sound experience to match the mechanical performance.
The DBX S reaffirms Aston Martin’s commitment to lighter, more powerful and emotionally engaging ‘S’ variants. A Super-SUV that makes no compromise on luxury, but puts performance at the heart of the experience – true to its heritage and designed for the future.
