Barca Velha can look back over 67 years of history and, according to Casa Ferreirinha, it is the «unquestionable symbol of the highest quality of wines in the Douro». Released only in exceptional years and already with 19 previous editions, this icon of the Douro and Portugal will release a new vintage next year, originating in 2011, «an extraordinary year, one of the best ever in the Douro». Barca Velha 2011 will thus be presented in May 2020, in 30,000 75-cl bottles and promises to fascinate oenophiles in Portugal and beyond.
