Presented a few days ago, the Wine & Music Valley will be the first grand festival inspired by the wine that is born in the Douro region, even though this is an initiative to celebrate gastronomy and music too. The event will take place at the commercial port of Cambres in Lamego, on 14th and 15th September, and as an annual project of national and international level, it’s capable of generating economic and tourism impact in the region. On the grounds of six acres and with a capacity to receive 15,000 people a day, the offer will be varied and sophisticated, not only considering the wine lovers and connoisseurs but also all those who seek for new and different experiences, highlighting moments of union and of conviviality. The Wine & Music Valley will host some of the biggest names in the national and international panorama, such as the iconic British singer Bryan Ferry, Mariza, António Zambujo, Salvador Sobral, DJ Vibe, Philip Vargas, among others. The audience will also be able to attend gastronomic moments in the presence of renowned chefs, including live cooking shows and tasting. There will be a hospitality area with cabins for groups, with an exclusive and personalized service, and a space dedicated to wine and sensory experiences.
