The Glamour of the French Riviera
Memorable experience
Hair blowing in the wind, we’re driving through the charm and elegance of the French Riviera, also known as the Côte d’Azur. Home to some of the most beautiful cities and sites, looking out over the Mediterranean, this is one of the most exclusive and luxurious destinations in the world. The likes of Renoir and Picasso have passed through these parts, not to mention illustrious stars of the world of cinema.
Today, we want to share with you a road trip itinerary featuring some of the moments and places that have inspired us and that are worthy of being experienced at least once in a lifetime. Let’s start our cultural and scenic adventure on the roads of Monaco, where luxury... is luxury no matter what time of day it is. Top-of-the-range cars, premium boutiques, prestigious hotels, exclusive restaurants and historic buildings. This is without doubt one of the most luxurious destinations in the world, famous for the Monte-Carlo Casino, for the Formula 1 and for the huge number of yachts moored at Port Hercule. Next up is Èze, the city with one of the most beautiful views of the sea and where every viewpoint will give you goosebumps, as dazzling as the landscape is. A little further on, we enter Nice, enchanting by nature, home to the famous Hotel Negresco and known for being an old city with many restaurants and a traditional flower market. It is also home to France’s third largest airport. The view of the city from the Colline du Château is breath-taking and, for anyone who likes art and culture, there is much to see. After that, we head to Grasse, where a pit stop is a must, if only to smell the fragrant scent of the region. This is the perfume capital of the world and has a beautiful historic centre. We continue along the seafront until we stop for a break in Antibes, home to the region’s most famous Provençal market. This is also one of the most visited towns in the south of France. Antibes boasts ramparts, stone houses and alleyways, and is home to the Picasso Museum, housed within a small castle. Before long, we headed for Cannes, home to the world’s largest film festival. The city oozes glamour in every nook and cranny, particularly along the seafront on the Boulevard de la Croisette, while its streets retain the French charm of times gone by.

THE CÔTE D’AZUR IS CONSIDERED ONE
OF THE MOST LUXURIOUS AND
EXPENSIVE REGIONS IN THE WORLD
And finally, what could we say about Saint-Tropez? We spent some time there too. The destination that became one of the greatest luxury destinations in the 1950s, attracting the world’s elite. Today, it remains one of the many places where yachts can be seen moored in marinas and refined restaurants with sea views await visitors. Everything here fascinates us. Even after stopping off in Port Grimaud, the famous Venice of France, where you can hire a boat and cruise along its canals, the enchantment is even greater when we get to Saint-Tropez. The centre retains its historic atmosphere, with charming cafés and narrow streets. And Pampelonne beach is one of the best known and most popular with holidaymakers.
The Côte d’Azur is considered one of the most luxurious and expensive regions in the world. It spans more than 120 kilometres of coastline in the South of France and is home to famous and stunning cities. Its greatest attractions are its natural beauty, beaches and luxury shops. A Riviera worth visiting at any time of year.
