Organised by the Tourism and hotel training school (EFTH) in the Azores, the 8th edition of the 10 Fest Azores, the biggest gastronomic event in the archipelago, will take place between June 20th and 29th, in Anfiteatro Restaurant, an area with an astonishing view over the Bay of Ponta Delgada, on the island of S. Miguel. As in previous editions, 10 great chefs, two of them with a Michelin star, will surprise, reinventing the typical ingredients of the region, with ten tasting dinners, six dishes, accompanied by unique wine experiences.
On June 21st, Chef António Loureiro, from A Cozinha restaurant, in Guimarães will take over; on 22nd, Chef Vasco Coelho dos Santos from Eskalduna Restaurant in Porto will shine; On 23rd Chef Goncalo Costa, the Executive Chef of Tágide restaurant, Wine Bar and Saraiva's, in Lisbon will lead the kitchen; on 24th Chef Antony Goncalves, from Kanopi restaurant in New York will show his potential. On 25th, Diners will be surprised by Chef Antonio Galapito, from the restaurant Prado, in Lisbon; On 26th, dishes will be prepared by Chef Leandro Careira, from The Sea, The Sea resturant, in London; On 27th, the event will be attended by Chef Fernando Cardoso, from Altis Belém Restaurant in Lisbon; On 28th, Chef Francesco Dilli, from Ferreira Café restaurant in Quebec will provide an unforgettable experience; and on 29th, accompanied by Sommelier António Gonçalves, from G restaurant, in Bragança, will be Chef Oscar Geadas from the same restaurant. The 10 Fest 2019 will have a grand finale with an after party, highlighting the cocktails that will be available and which have been designed and created by the chefs, during the school year, with the graduates of EFTH bar table.
