The Symposium Sangue na Guelra, the largest Portuguese gastronomic event, will take place on 27th and 28th May, at Gare Marítima de Alcântara in Lisbon. Sangue na Guelra Blood n’Guts is a movement that brings young emerging cooks of the best restaurants in the country and the world to the foreground. From the first moment, the great goal is to inspire, support interdisciplinary gastronomy and its conceptual enrichment is to promote the identity of the national gastronomic culture. The Symposium Sangue na Guelra is a space dedicated to reflection, experimentation and debate.  On its 5th Edition, whose theme is the revolutions within the revolution, sustainability revolution, the revolution of the country brother, the children's Revolution, the revolution of wines, the community Revolution, the revolution of entrepreneurship, the Media revolution and more will play the main role.
The event is open to the public and this Symposium allows people to think about the future with no fear to shake the present. In these Revolutions names such as César Costa, a Brazilian chef Ana Luiza Trajano, President of the Brazil Institute to taste, Janaína and Jefferson Rueda, a powerful couple in the São Paulo’s gastronomic scene, Janaína Rueda, mentor of the project School Lunches, Miguel Pires, a Portuguese food writer, Valter Kramar, sommelier of Hisa Franko, in Slovenia; Joe Warwick, Creative Director of The Restaurant Awards, Rafael García Santos, a Spanish restaurant critic, among others will be present.
