Taste Up, an acceleration programme promoted by Turismo de Portugal, the creative territories and APTECE, designed to support through training and mentoring, entrepreneurship projects in the area of gastronomy and wine tourism, has applications opened. The roadshow will be in 50 municipalities, and will present a workshop on qualification and dissemination of the programme. In this workshop, not only all acceleration programmes will be shown, but also dynamic training sessions on opportunities, trends in tourism, gastronomy and wine tourism, and entrepreneurship and value proposition. All interested entrepreneurs, who can be from any part of the country, may participate in the selection workshops where they will find all the support for Online applications (http://www.territorioscriativos.eu/taste-up/). 36 projects will be selected, and these will have the opportunity to develop their business through the participation in two boocamps, each consisting of two intensive days of mentoring and training. Fornos de Algodres and Loures will host the 1st and 2nd Bootcamp, respectively on October 25th and 26th, and November 22nd and 23rd. The mentoring to the projects will take place on the 7th and 18th of November.
Taste Up big winner will be chosen on December 5th at the Observatório do Sobreiro e da Cortiça (Oak and Cork Observatory), in Coruche, in a pitch session, where entrepreneurs will present their projects to a jury made up of investors and Companies’ managers, but also of representatives of public and private institutions. This session will simultaneously take place with UP Tourism final, having thus approximately 50 municipalities represented.
