At this year’s World Luxury Spa Awards ceremony, which took place in St. Petersburg in Russia, Magic Spa, an exclusive Pestana Hotel Group’s brand won six categories for the fourth year in a row: Pestana Palace Lisbon (in the categories of Luxury Business Hotel Spa in the South of Europe and Portugal’s Luxury Historical Hotel Spa), Pestana Palácio do Freixo-Porto (Luxury Historical Hotel Spa in the South of Europe), Pestana DOM João II-Algarve (Portugal’s Luxury Beach Resort Spa), Pestana Grand-Madeira (Luxury Island Resort Spa in the South of Europe) and Pestana Casino Park-Madeira (Luxury Casino Hotel Spa Global).
Catarina Lopes, the responsible for Pestana Hotel Group’s Spas brand, said it was a «recognition of Magic Spa’s service of excellence, for having such a quality team full of dedicated professionals who strive, every single day, to make each customer feel unique and able to enjoy moments of well-being in our spaces». The World Luxury Spa Awards seek to highlight not only the service of excellence but also the promotion of competitiveness among the luxury hotel industry. Furthermore, they intent to raise awareness about the importance of providing a quality service to guests. The voting is done by the public and the customers of each space.
