When global investment manager Schroders was looking to reinvent one of its hotels, the former Magic Circus, and giving it a new identity, it turned to Moment Factory. The company didn’t let it down. With a creative approach, inspired by the experience they already had in themed attractions, and adapting immersive design practices for a variety of industries, the team achieved an original concept with interior design, digital content, lighting and sound design, thus creating multimedia environments that transport guests into a fantastical world of immersive stories. Tétris Design & Build brought the scenography to life and Maison Numéro 20 was charged with the decoration of the reinvented spaces. 

 But this is still a hotel, so the guiding purpose hasn’t been forgotten. Combining hospitality and entertainment, the unit engages guests throughout their stay. The Grand Magic Hotel experience begins the very moment guests pass through the dynamic revolving door and enter a lobby that elicits long gasps of awe. Architectural effects and illusions reveal surprises and provide a glimpse into show-stopping moments to come. 
The hotel’s main attraction is the Grand Hall, a gathering place that evolves throughout the day to reach the height of its powers at nightfall. It is then that multimedia content transforms the venue into four unique worlds: a living garden landscape, an enchanted forest, a majestic underwater world and an ethereal wonderland high above the clouds.
