It costs 89,000 euros per night and it is most likely the most expensive hotel room in the world. This 'bargain' is in Las Vegas (The USA) at Palms Casino Resort, and this particular room was named Empathy Suite. The suite is 2300 square and presents itself as a kind of real-scale art gallery. It was designed by the English artist Damien Hirst and has a custom swimming pool inside... with sharks included. It is an example of extravagance and luxury taken to the extreme. The two bull sharks are suspended in a formaldehyde aquarium. Everything in this suite seems to have been taken from a film, from furniture, carpets, walls and fabrics, to Hirst's original six works of art. In addition to these excellent works placed in different areas of the suite, art fans will also be thrilled to discover that Hirst was personally involved in the design of all the nooks, as in the fabrics that feature their unique designs. For example, 104 butterflies (one of Hirst's iconic motifs) of stone were incorporated into the marble floor of the suite, giving it a contemporary touch.
