Organized in partnership with Ordem dos Arquitetos and Ordem dos
Engenheiros, both from the North region, Concreta
has this year and since 2017, Diogo Aguiar as the host of the event and the
responsible for the evolution of this concept. The 29th edition of
Concreta – Building, Reabilitation, Architecture and Design, will take place at
Exponor, in Leça da Palmeira - Matosinhos, from the 21st to 24th
November and is counting on a renewed format whose intention is to offer
a new guiding experience, based on creativity, innovation and art. The new
setting drives the visitors through a path over the main areas of the
exhibition, where «Praças Concreta», spaces of creation and innovation, intercept
and give way to the peripheral subjects, which interact more and more with the building
process, such as design, ilustration,
photography and video.
More than a fair where new concepts are shown, the biennial, according to Diogo Amaral, «Is a space of sharing and interaction, that gathers both sides– industry and professionals to think, inspire and instigate architecture and building in Portugal. We really aim to reflect the new dynamic and languages in the construction process, which is getting more wide and complex». The event, that in 2017 gathered more than 30.000 visitors, aims to attract more international visitors, expecting the presence of foreign delegations from Spain, France and Germany.
