The 1st Meeting for Effective Evaluation System of Learning for the Quality Enhancement of CPLP Educational Systems took place on December the 3rd, 2019, at the headquarters of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP), in Lisbon, with the aim of striving for an approximation of the nine Member States’ education systems, on the basis of the analysis of the best practices implemented in each country. During the debate, delegations addressed the strengthening of national educational evaluation systems, of the CPLP Education Cooperation Action Plan (2016/2020), aspiring to create a network for sharing information, resources and instruments related to the evaluation of the educational system.
This 1st Meeting preceded the 8th Focal Points of Education Meeting, which took place on the following days, on December 04 and 05, 2019, which dealt with, among other subjects, the approval of the work and deployment agenda of the CPLP Action Plan for Multilateral Cooperation in the Field of Education. In order to mark the International Portuguese Language Day, celebrated on May 05, the promotion, in schools, was defined of the audio book Contos Tradicionais da CLLP [CPLP Traditional Tales] and of the exhibition O futuro aposta na CPLP [Future investment in the CPLP].
