giant aquariums with jellyfish (medusa
in Portuguese) help to explain the name. Medusis is an entertainment venue that

The
recently opened Medusis Club is located in the Algarve, right next to the renowned
Quinta do Lago, and is home to truly unique moments, where exciting days around
the pool and the beautiful garden give way to elegant but just as happy evenings.
The lit pool becomes the focal point of the venue at night, when the setting is
flooded by lounge beats, creating a relaxed and elegant atmosphere, perfect for
socialising to the taste of the finest cocktails, in a professional mixology
experience - with gins enjoying a strong presence at sunset and throughout the long
evenings at Medusis - and a standout music line-up, featuring national and
international artists.
Covering
a total area of 11,000 sqm, the project came into being thanks to the
friendship and common dream of four partners who wanted to create something
completely different. They contacted Vasco Vieira, a renowned South African
born architect, who has developed extraordinary projects in the Algarve’s leading
resorts. As the project required distinctive lighting, they hired one of the
best: ByBeau studio, of prestigious lighting designer Beau McClellan, creator
of the world’s largest chandelier in Qatar. The atmosphere is elegant, simple
and relaxed. Bespoke furniture, such as sofa beds, sun loungers, or private
pergolas, stunning architecture and fine cuisine work together to create the
perfect setting to celebrate life and unwind. Snacks by the pool, brunches,
light meals, long summer lunches with friends, or more sophisticated dinners in
the dining area, with sushi and sashimi services, prepared by the talent
of renowned chefs, help channel the Medusis concept. Private events for groups
of various sizes are also a possibility, whether for friends, birthday parties
or corporate.
