There’s a «new jewellery
box» in Oporto’s baixa. On January
29, Elements Contemporary Jewellery, founded by the brothers Nuno and Marco
Santos, opened its flagship store on Rua das Flores, in the year it celebrates
its 10th anniversary.
Elements Flores has taken over and renovated a century-old building, which has always been associated with the history of the jewellery in Oporto, but which had been empty for more than 50 years. Now, thanks to the brand’s founders, it provides a home once again to the sparkle and glitz of painstakingly elaborated jewellery.
The building develops over five floors. The entrance floor displays prestigious contemporary jewellery brands, represented exclusively by the group, such as António Bernardo, Niessing or Vanrycke, while also presenting their own brand – Dos Santos. The second floor is reserved for personalised service for the bridal segment. Here engagement and wedding rings and other bespoke pieces will be carefully conceived. The remaining floors are occupied by the design studio, marketing department and administrative area.
The new store combines the Portuguese jewellery tradition, bringing back expert craftsmanship and the skill of making each piece unique, with a touch of contemporary class. With beauty and detail as their motto, each piece of jewellery thus tells a story and is synonymous with an emotion that will last forever.
