In order to raise funds to extend the families support of São João’s Hospital Neonatology Service, Âme moi associates itself to the Ronald McDonald’s House cause in Porto for a Solidarity Sunset Party that will take place on July 4th by 6:00 pm. Âme moi will contribute by offering a numbered bag, with a limited edition of 30 units from its capsule collection Pour Lucie, inspired by the work of the painter Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso. These will be drawn among the guests. The template to be drawn at the event will be the new edition of Pour Lucie, Carmelita Pour Lucie, numbered 6/30, coinciding not only with the existence year of the cause, but also with its house in Porto. Carmelita Pour Lucie, the fourth model now published, with a total of six out of the collection, was inspired by the work Avant la Corrida, an oil on canvas from 1912 which belongs to the Modern art collection of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon. From this work, the creative Department of Âme moi took the stylized high quality graphic figures of chromatic horses, and rhythms that suggest movement, keeping the Cubist and futuristic language and communicating in a more visible way, keeping the perfect balance between the artist’s stroke and the brand’s DNA.
