A luxury resort with 28 rooms, ten villas and 21 bungalows is to be built on a 20-hectare plot next to Vale da Figueira, in Melides (municipality of Grândola), as a result of a 25 million Euro investment by Turkish duo Falk Faik Yufkayürek and Sera Ozturk, who have planned the project – this resort was projected by the architect Vasco Vieira, Arqui+. The couple will support the investment with their own capital and bank financing. Work on the Umay Resort Melides is expected to begin in the second half of 2020, and it will open its doors in 2022.
