With the opening of the first phase planned for spring
2023, Ombria Resort is a new luxury development, covering a total area of 153
hectares, surrounded by a serene and natural landscape composed of green hills,
streams and forests full of lush trees, located in the Algarve, 7 km north of
Loulé and 20 km from the beaches and Faro Airport.
This development aims to pioneer a new generation of low density construction resorts in which sustainability, protection of the environment and support for local heritage are high on the list of priorities.
Ombria is being built to the highest international standards of design, service, quality and facilities available. An example of this is the investment in construction materials with unique characteristics, such as Portuguese cork and lime. This complex will include a 5-star hotel Viceroy at Ombria Resort and Viceroy Residences at Ombria Resort, with spa, health and fitness facilities, several restaurants and bars, conference centre and heated swimming pools; three different real estate phases with a total of around 380 properties, which include luxury villas, townhouses, townhouses and apartments, with prices starting at €600,000. An 18-hole golf course, designed by architect Jorge Santana da Silva, with a clubhouse; leisure and entertainment facilities; an organic farming area; beekeeping facilities; an astronomical observatory; a beach club on one of the nearby beaches; nature paths for walking and cycling and other sports facilities.
