Bearing in mind minimal and strictly essential spaces, the Danish architecture office Njordrum is designing innovative proposals for housing, exploring modularity and Scandinavian aesthetics while connecting architecture, nature, natural light and inhabitants. Believing the fact that more important than dimensions is the architecture itself, the studio started the project with a module of 45 m², thought to function independently, but with the possibility of creating several configurations when joined to other modules. The proposal is based on modular houses intimately linked to nature, and the interior spaces are as ' natural ' as the exterior. According to Njordrum architects «when there is light, space and a strong relationship between the interior and the exterior, the amount of square meters is not essential to define whether the house is perceived as large or small».  To match the constant changes of material and location, depending on the users’ tastes and lifestyle, the studio extends the limits of flexibility, offering an architecture that can change dimensions and needs. Its projects, in addition to advocating the values of the sustainability of the integrated design, are also mobile, without, however, compromising the quality of the architecture.
