If until recently, Claus Porto had two stores in Portugal - one in Oporto, which was its city birth and gave it the name, another in Lisbon - and another one in New York , from now on Claus Porto’s products can be bought at a more affordable price, since the brand opened, its first outlet store in Vila do Conde Porto Fashion Outlet last July. «The arrival of Claus Porto to the centre of Vila do Conde is a very emotional moment for us», explains Nuno Oliveira, the Business Director of VIA Outlets Iberia. The decoration and the environment of the 72 square meters space, were designed to recreate flagship store in Rua das Flores. Well known products can be found for sale, such as Musgo Real’s soaps and colognes or Deco’s candles, diffusers and soaps. The store’s available offer will rely on «strengthening some of our transition articles in a new space of opportunity, but maintaining a serious commitment to our customers and the quality they have always been used to" said Francisco Neto, CEO of Claus Porto.
At the roots of Claus Porto are its German founders, Ferdinand Claus and Georges Schweder, and a beautiful historic Portuguese city: Oporto. From the marriage between these two European identities, a home of fragrances and beauty products was born and celebrated its 130th anniversary in 2017. Each Claus Porto product holds a unique history and personality, with images inspired by ancient labels that take us to the glamorous European Belle Époque. Each fragrance is based on ingredients from the exuberant Portuguese flora.
