The Imacustica shop, in partnership with British counterpart Absolute Sounds, brought to Lisbon a hundred Portuguese and foreign guests to present the WAMM Master Chronosonic speakers, whose base price is 950,000 euros, but easily exceeds 1 million, depending on the specifications. The creator is David Wilson, a zoologist and chemist who became a sound engineer by conviction, for his obsession to produce the perfect sound. Dedicating decades of his life to research, he actually created a recording studio, editing works according to his criteria, whose quality was at the level of his speakers. WAMM Master Chronosonic speakers are impressive in every way. The set formed by two towers and two subwoofers weighs about a ton. The speakers are 2.14 meters high and look like a masterpiece of Haute Horlogerie.
They are handmade by a very small team, since Audio Wilson has just 50 employees. The sound is absolute Emersion, as if a whole orchestra was in fact there. Respecting David Wilson’s will, who died last year, only 70 pairs of WAMM Master Chronosonic will be made.
