Keeping up with a tradition that started in 2001, and has already 19
series of limited editions, Blancpain, a Haute Horlogery brand, reinterprets
its model Villeret phases of the moon
calendar, combining the signature features of the collection with the
universal symbols of love. This new edition limited to 99 units is launched by
Valentine’s day, although any moment is perfect to celebrate love. The Swiss
brand imagined an even more refined box for their calendars with phases of the
moon, one of the most romantic collections in Villeret’s women collection. The Valentine’s Day 2019 special watch has a mother of pearl dial,
whose shiny shades suggest a heavenly base. In the hour marks there are eight
diamonds, delicately applied on the mother of pearl. These are complemented
with the roman numbers 3, 6, 9 and 12 in golden rose colour. The seconds are
pointed by a hand with a cupid arrow, while a fourth hand with a red heart
shaped ending indicates the date. The phases of the moon are shown at 6 o’clock,
through a round orifice with a golden pink ring. The movement 913QL.P is located in a golden pink
colour box of 33 mm, decorated with 64 diamonds.
