At first glance, LANGE 1 DAYMATIC looks like a typical LANGE 1, however, it differs from the original manual winding by a fundamental aspect: its asymmetric display is a mirror image of the historic model. If LANGE 1 was launched 25 years ago, LANGE 1 DAYMATIC appeared in 2010, but is now presented in a new version to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its older brother. Endowed with the retrograde indication of the day of the week, this version in white gold with blue nuances is part of a commemorative collection of ten tribute models declined in limited editions to only 25 copies.
Comparing to the manual version, the hours and the minutes of LANGE 1 DAYMATIC, were displaced to the right, while the small seconds and the oversized date to the left. LANGE 1’s power-reserve indicator, typically located in an area adjacent to the crown, was replaced in LANGE 1 DAYMATIC by a retrograde scale of the weekdays on the opposite side of the dial. LANGE 1 DAYMATIC 25th Anniversary‘s special features include a box in white gold with a 39.5 mm diameter and a silver tone dial with relegated sub-dials and seasoned pointers. The design features the same bluish hue of the pointers. A strap of blue crocodile hand stitched with a solid white gold buckle highlights the dichromatic concept of this commemorative collection.
