From 26th to 29th September, Portojóia, the largest jewellery, gold and watch industry showcase in Portugal, will be at Exponor, for a very special edition, as it celebrates its 30th anniversary. For the occasion, Portojóia bets on parallel initiatives aiming to foster exclusive partnerships between brands and sectors, sharing good practice among professionals and a global view on trends that influence the market. This year, the event thought of professionals and chose «Roots & Wings» for its main theme, paying tribute to the roots of the Portuguese art and tradition while projecting the new generation that draws the future for this sector. One of the outstanding initiatives is «Arts & Jewels», which presents the exclusive collaborations between jewellery brands and creators of other sectors such as fashion, decoration, design and plastic arts, in order to inspire the creation of new products, to develop new business areas. «Trend Spot», a space of new trends, with a fine selection of items that represent the new creative movements, which will also have a leading role at the event.
In order to inspire and foster knowledge sharing, this edition returns to «Jewel's Labs» space, in which four brands suggest new concepts of displaying and glass showcases, directed at retail trade, working as prototypes of inspiration for the gold industry. The concept store Scar ID and the jewellery brands Mesh, Mimata and Wings of Feeling are the guests of this edition. The previous edition of Portojóia brought together more than 10,000 visitors and 165 exhibitors, including 25 international brands and 35 young designers, a recent bet that has been growing, year after year, reflecting a renovation in the sector.
