In the least navigated waters of the Amazon River in Peru, there's a luxury ship that takes travellers to the deep jungle. It's called Aria Amazon and it’s a cruise ship, where there’s no shortage of privacy, comfort or sophistication. Galli Zugaro founded the Aqua Experiences in 2007 and the adventure, which is also a profitable business, started in the country where the Amazon River is born. The success of the first vessel tailor-made was such, that in a short time he managed to commission a second unit. In fact, the Aria Amazon was built in order to navigate in uncharted waters and remote places. The trip, that is available for 40 lucky people (the real capacity at the luxurious ship), begins in the remote town of Iquitos, leading travellers to discover the source of the Amazon river, on Pacaya Samiria reserve. In order to intermediate the biggest trip, there are small trips to even more hidden places such as the tributaries. These are done in small groups, in smaller and simpler boats. The guides, who are qualified in biology, go on explaining the lives of the pink dolphins, the piranhas, the capuchin monkeys, the sloths, among many other species. At the end of the adventures, one is able to return to the refinement of the suites or to the pleasurable jaccuzzi. When the night falls, Chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, responsible for two of the best restaurants in Lima, provides the flavours that garnish happy days.
