Pure elegance, incredible power and cutting-edge technology are some of the features of an unprecedented automobile: the Audi RS7 Sportback, made its debut last September at the Frankfurt Auto Show. Aesthetically speaking, the new Audi RS7 Sportback presents itself much sportier than its previous version. Wider, with the most flared wheel arches and with the grille accompanying the lateral growth of this model, the new RS7 Sportback seems to embrace the road more than its predecessor. The front headlights are more linear and the lateral air inlets of the front bumper are now presented with a more vertical triangular shape. Moreover, the rear headlight is a single piece, inserted in the so fashionable ‘retro’ design language. The exterior design concept extends to the interior, where the highlights go to the two new touch screens, which are inserted into the centre console column, and the cut off bottom wheel. Another innovation is the introduction of the five seat configuration. The tailgate offers 353 litters of capacity, but with the rear seats folded, this capacity goes up to 1390 litters. In terms of engine, the V8 4.0 TFSI with Audi cylinder on Demand technology produces 560 HP and allows the RS 7 Sportback to achieve a breathtaking performance, for which also contribute the 8-speed tiptronic automatic box and the permanent four-wheel drive traction (Quattro®). The first units of RS’s most recent family member should start to be delivered from the first quarter of the next year.
