The result of the
successful collaborative efforts of naval architect Bill Dixon, who developed
the exterior and designer Kelly Hoppen, responsible for the interior layout, Pearl 80 remains attentive to the DNA of
Pearl Yachts, which involves the creation of luxury yachts with large interior
spaces combined with opulence and elaborate design.
Like a precious sea
pearl, the Pearl 80, a 24-metre
yacht, features aerodynamic exterior lines that emphasise the huge windscreen
and the three tiers of glass panels. The generous strip of continuous windows
near the waterline creates a well illuminated lower deck, while on the main
deck the effect is of a conservatory, flooding the galley area with plenty of
light. Seen from afar, the boat resembles an arrow, pursuing speed and
efficiency.

Oppulence and elaborate design
The generous strip of continuous windows near the waterline creates a well illuminated lower deck.
For the interior, Kelly
Hoppen has created three alternative themes: Studio – bright and fresh, with predominant stripes and brown hues
-, Taupe – with pale joinery that
contrasts with the warmer tones of other elements – and Luxury – which brings to mind a chic modern apartment with polished
surfaces, nickel and black accents. Woods, both darker and lighter, are used to
add a sense of visual depth, while high-gloss, white lacquered ceilings, as if
a mirror, provide reflection, enhancing the feeling of space. The wide variety
of fabrics with contrasting tones and a series of beautiful accessories, such
as table lamps, vases, cushions and candles, complete the design of lines both
classic and contemporary, and clean and elegant.
Aware that customers are
much more likely to eat out on deck than indoors, Kelly Hoppen endowed the
yacht with three outside dining areas: on the flybridge, at the bow, and on the
cockpit. In the saloon and galley, the large windows maximise light, creating bright,
open spaces. The accommodation aboard the Pearl
80 can fit up to eight guests divided into four cabins, including a master
cabin that occupies the full beam of the boat, situated at mid-ship. Another
three cabins complete the private area for guests, while crew accommodation
allows for a team of two. On the deck, guests can choose between the bow
seating area and the flybridge, with bar, pool, sun loungers, electric grill
and retractable awning. The hydraulic stern platform provides easy access to
water and can be used to store, for example, a jet ski.
With its deep V high speed
planing hull and two MAN V12-1800 engines, the Pearl 80 offers impressive manoeuvrability and speeds up to 35
knots.
