Glamour is part of the car’s strong personality, present down to the smallest detail, but first things first. In order to increase the opening angle and to facilitate the entrance into the vehicle, the rear doors open in a peculiar way. A simple push of the built-in button closes the door, thus avoiding too much wear and tear on the door when this is closed with force. The smart, exquisitely styled seats are wrapped in caramel brown tones and look extremely comfortable. Integrating ventilation and massage and, of course, leather upholstery, the interior features wood and metal on the centre console, passenger tables and doors. It also includes USB and USB-C sockets on the doors, an infotainment system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a minibar, with crystal glasses and custom whisky bottle in the rear seats, and the traditional umbrella in each rear door. The car offers four temperature zones with its renowned air-conditioning system, boasting three outlets for each occupant. Regarding the engine, it is known that it comes with two 6.7-litre, 563 hp turbochargers. The car can reach 97 km/h in 4.5 seconds, quite a feat, considering it weighs approximately 2.6 tons. Loyal to the brand’s values, the model is quiet, and pressing down hard on the accelerator pedal triggers nothing less than a smooth, linear response from the Cullinan. Steering is light and acceleration smooth, featuring four-wheel drive and a 48-volt anti-skid system. The sound insulation is another vestige of luxury, one of the priorities on the brand’s selective list. To emphasise this preference, they have installed glass between the back seats and the boot, providing greater serenity to the driver’s area.
With no apparent rivals, the Cullinan positions itself at the top of the market
Rolls-Royce’s latest arrival takes driving qualities and refinement to another level, featuring an anti-theft security system, which prevents the Spirit of Ecstasy, the small statue at the front of the car, from being stolen by automatically retracting when it detects forced touch. With no apparent rivals, the Cullinan, stands above the rest, all on its own.
