Finland has designed a course on Artificial Intelligence to grant its citizens a knowledge base in this area, but it has recently announced that the training will be available worldwide for free. The programme consists of six modules, with lectures and tests at the end of each section. Finland's partners will translate the programme into all languages of the European Union, even though there is no geographical restriction, so any citizen of the globe can follow it. Reaktor, one of the consultants involved in the project, explains that the motivation was to prove that Artificial Intelligence should not be left in the hands of just a few elites.
