The Champalimaud Foundation is to create the Centre for Artificial Intelligence, which will be located in a pavilion in the former Docapesca building, next to the Botton-Champalimaud Pancreas Cancer Centre, in Lisbon. With no specific date yet set for the beginning of the construction work, it is expected to start operating in around six months. The investment for this centre is 35 million Euros. This is one of the parts of the Ocean Campus project, which will be a major hub for science.
