The final round of the World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) was held in Tenerife on October 06, and the Portuguese team TURKISH AIRLINES emerged victorious out of the 22 teams present.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the WCGC saw the Canary Islands as the ideal setting for the showdown for the title of world champion of the greatest corporate golf tournament. While the World Final was still underway at Golf Costa Adeje, the Sports Legends Cup was also held, a tournament that brought together sports legends such as Eddie Polland and Alberto Berasategui, access to which was limited by invitation at the Abama Golf course.
From the first swing to the last putt, intense rounds were played, and it wasn't long before victory was clinched by TURKISH AIRLINES, made up of Alexandre Castelo and Miguel Portela Morais.
