Villas & Golf Angola Editorial
The Seed of Angola's Future
Angola awakens. With its heart firmly planted in the land and its eyes fixed on the horizon, the country embraces a new chapter in its history: that of food sovereignty, economic independence, and agricultural renaissance. In this edition of Villas & Golfe Angola, we celebrate agribusiness as one of the strategic pillars of national development. Because there is an Angola that plants, cultivates, and harvests—and which, now, is beginning to bear fruit.
For decades, oil was the engine of our economy. But time has shown that a nation's true wealth lies in its ability to feed its people, transform its produce, and create value from its own soil. Agribusiness thus emerges not only as an alternative, but as a vocation: Angola has fertile land, a favorable climate, and hard-working people. All that was needed was belief. Now, it is believed.
In this issue, we highlight concrete examples of success: Grupolíder, Grupo Soanorte, Grupo Carrinho, and the Terras do Koló farm—names that today symbolize more than business projects; they represent hope for a sustainable and prosperous future. We see cattle, we see seeds, we see sunflowers for biodiesel, and above all, we see the future. A future where Angola imports less, exports more, and transforms the countryside into a real source of foreign exchange, employment, and national pride.
We also follow the path food takes to the table: from the land to the plate, we discover Chef Helton's inspiration and his foundation dedicated to food sustainability. Their work, alongside so many others, helps us understand that agribusiness isn't just about economics—it's also about culture, identity, and public health.
And because Angola also thrives on talent, tradition, and reinvention, we bring you Café Del Mar, with Dinita and her daughter Catarina, symbols of family continuity and the Angolan entrepreneurial spirit. We've enriched this edition with chronicles, reviews, and, of course, lifestyle touches that lighten the reading experience and celebrate our unique way of life.
This is the first edition truly dedicated to agribusiness in Angola. It won't be the last. Because the countryside is pulsating again, and with it, Angola. Villas & Golfe Angola reaffirms its commitment to telling stories that uplift, inspire, and promote Angola for what it has best: its people, its resources, and its will to succeed.
